When setting up your device:

- Go directly to the manufacturer’s website — avoid resellers
- Follow official setup steps and firmware updates
- Create a secure **12–24 word recovery phrase** (your seed phrase)
- Write this down on paper or steel — never store it digitally

Your seed phrase = your vault key. Lose it, and you lose your crypto. Share it, and someone else owns your assets.
