1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use set the rules for visiting and using themarketsunplugged.com and any pages we operate (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you buy a membership, our Terms & Conditions (Subscriptions & Digital Content) also apply.

2. Who may use the Site

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under your local law. You are responsible for ensuring our content is permitted in your location.

3. Accounts and security

If you create an account you must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl, harvest or text-mine the Site or any member areas
  • copy, re-host, mirror, frame, bulk download or systematically archive Site content
  • bypass paywalls, reverse engineer, probe or disrupt security, or use bots to automate access
  • upload malware or post content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful or abusive
  • use the Site to advertise or solicit without our written permission
  • impersonate our team or other users, or misrepresent your affiliation with us

We may monitor for abuse and take reasonable steps to protect the Site and our users.

5. Intellectual property

All content and code on the Site are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a personal, revocable licence to access the Site for your own learning. Any commercial use, redistribution or re-publication requires our written permission.

6. User content and takedown

If you post or upload content in spaces we operate, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display and moderate that content to run the Site and community. We may remove content or suspend access for violations of these terms or law.

7. Third-party services and links

The Site uses third-party services such as embedded video, analytics and payment processors, and may link to external websites. Their terms and privacy notices apply when you use them. We are not responsible for external sites.

8. Education only, no advice

Our content is educational and informational. Nothing on the Site is investment, legal, accounting or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy or sell any asset.

We may update the Site or these terms. If we make a material change we will signpost it on the Site. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the change.

14. Governing law and forum

These Terms of Use are governed by RAK DAO regulations and applicable DIFC law, with exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts. Mandatory consumer protections in your home country still apply.

15. Arabic version

An Arabic version will be made available. Where UAE law requires Arabic for consumer documents, the Arabic version prevails in case of conflict.
