1. What these terms cover
These Terms & Conditions govern paid memberships, subscriptions, and digital content we provide through themarketsunplugged.com (the “Services”). If you only browse the public site, see the Terms of Use (Website).
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be 18+ and able to enter a contract. Keep account details accurate and secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account, and should tell us promptly about unauthorised access.
3. Plans, pricing & taxes
Plan features and USD prices are shown at checkout and may evolve over time while maintaining the overall level for your plan.
Any applicable taxes are displayed at checkout and on your invoice.
We issue a digital invoice or receipt by email for each charge or renewal.
4. Contract formation
A binding contract forms when you complete checkout. You authorise us, and Stripe as our payment processor, to charge your payment method for the initial term and for renewals until you cancel.
5. Auto-renewal & billing
Memberships auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle, monthly or annual, unless cancelled before renewal. We email a receipt for every charge. Manage your plan at any time via Account → Billing or through the Customer Portal link.
6. Free trials and immediate access
Some plans may be offered with a free trial. Where a free trial is available, its length and any conditions are shown at checkout.
A free trial requires a valid payment method upfront. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method is automatically charged when the trial period ends and your paid membership begins. You can cancel at any time during the trial via Account → Billing → Manage subscription → Cancel, or through the Customer Portal link. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged.
Free trials are limited to the plans where they are offered and may be limited to one per customer. We may withdraw or change trial availability at any time.
For purchases without a free trial, by completing checkout you request immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that any withdrawal or cooling-off right that might otherwise apply does not apply once access is granted.
7. Refunds
First-time purchases are non-refundable, subject to your statutory rights.
Free trials: if you cancel before your trial ends, you are not charged. If your trial converts to a paid plan and you did not intend to continue, contact us within 7 calendar days of that first charge and we will issue a full refund.
Annual renewals: if your annual plan renews and you did not intend to keep it, contact us within 7 calendar days of the renewal charge and we will issue a full refund. After 7 days the renewal charge is non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
Monthly renewals: monthly renewal charges are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals, and your access continues to the end of the paid period.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on bank processing times.
We also honour refunds where required by applicable consumer law.
8. Cancellation
How: Account → Billing → Manage subscription → Cancel, or via the Customer Portal link. We email a cancellation confirmation.
Effect: Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partially used periods, except where the refund policy above applies.
9. Upgrades, downgrades & failed payments
Upgrades may take effect immediately with prorating where supported. Downgrades start next cycle.
If payment fails, we may retry and suspend access until your details are updated.
10. Licence & intellectual property
Your membership grants a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to access member content for your own learning. You may not copy, re-host, redistribute, resell, lend, publicly display, frame, scrape, or automate capture of member content, remove watermarks or notices, or bypass access controls. Device limits and technical protections may apply to prevent abuse.
11. Community rules & impersonation
Be respectful in member spaces. We may remove content or suspend access for violations. Beware of scams and impersonation, we will never DM you for money, wallet recovery, or seed phrases.
12. Education-only; no investment advice
Our Services are educational and informational. Nothing we publish is investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset.
13. Third-party services
We use third-party tools, such as Stripe, video hosting, and analytics. When you interact with them, their terms and privacy notices apply alongside ours.
14. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach, abuse, or non-payment. You remain responsible for amounts due up to suspension or termination. We may block re-registration to protect the Service.
15. Changes to Services or these terms
We may reasonably update features, pricing, or these terms. Material changes will be notified, for example by email or in-product notice. Continued use after notice means you accept the update.
16. Disclaimers
Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Digital asset markets are volatile, and content can become outdated. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including trading losses, lost profits, or data loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.
18. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, costs, and liabilities arising from your misuse of the Services or breach of these terms.
19. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control.
20. Notices
We may send legal notices to your registered email. For membership or billing matters contact contact@themarketsunplugged.com.
21. Governing law & forum
These Terms are governed by RAK DAO regulations and applicable DIFC law, with exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts. Mandatory consumer protections in your home country still apply.
22. Arabic version
An Arabic version will be available. Where UAE law requires Arabic for consumer documents, the Arabic version prevails in case of conflict.
