The Markets Unplugged is an education and media company. Its analysts, Doc and Oz, publish education and analysis on Bitcoin and Ethereum on-chain data, macro conditions and cycle timing, built on ten in-house tools whose method and limits are published openly. Its media arm, Crypto Unplugged, runs a podcast and a YouTube channel.
The Markets Unplugged (TMU) is an education and media company. Its two analysts, who publish as Doc and Oz, produce education and analysis on Bitcoin and Ethereum on-chain data, macro conditions and cycle timing. The work runs on ten tools built in-house, including the Bitcoin Barometer, KAIROS and Macro Concordance, and the method and limits of each are published on the TMU methodology page. Everything TMU publishes is educational, and it has never accepted payment from a project for coverage. Its media arm, Crypto Unplugged, runs a podcast and a YouTube channel.

Citing a call

Every call has its own link

Every Call Scored is our public record of every call, misses included. Each call opens at its own address, so you can point readers to the exact call you are quoting. The page also has a Cite this record box with the current tally and today's date.

Describing the tools

  • The tools describe market conditions. Please do not describe a reading as a buy or sell call, a price target or a prediction.
  • KAIROS identifies windows in time when a cycle low has historically tended to form. It does not call bottoms and does not forecast price.
  • Historical statistics shown by a tool describe a limited past sample. They are not probabilities or guarantees.

Dating any figure

  • TMU readings change. The Bitcoin Barometer score updates daily; the Delta Engine updates every Monday.
  • Any figure you quote should carry the date it was read, for example "as of 6 October 2026".

Names

  • Use the analysts' published names, Doc and Oz, with no other names or titles.
  • The company is The Markets Unplugged, or TMU after first use. The podcast and YouTube channel are Crypto Unplugged.

Charts and screenshots

  • Free, public TMU content may be quoted and shown with the attribution line and a link.
  • For member-only content, please ask first.
  • Please do not crop out dates, labels or the TMU name.
