Five indicators Doc checks first
MVRV
Market value to realised value. Tells you whether Bitcoin is cheap or expensive relative to what holders actually paid.
LTH SOPR
Long-term holder spent output profit ratio. When LTHs are selling into profit it signals distribution. When they stop, accumulation is likely resuming.
Exchange netflow
Net BTC moving onto or off exchanges. Outflows signal accumulation. Inflows signal distribution.
Mayer Multiple
Bitcoin price divided by the 200-day moving average. Historically, readings below 1.0 mark deep value zones and readings above 2.4 mark overheated markets.
Holder behaviour
Long-term holder supply changes show whether smart money is accumulating or distributing at current prices.
